About Dogpatch... and a few of our neighborsOccupying a mere nine-square blocks of San Francisco’s eastern waterfront, the once little known Dogpatch district is becoming one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. We chose to locate Piccino in this tiny slice of the city because we love its eclectic mix of residential with light industry. Besides, where else in town can Baptist ministers rub elbows with Hells Angels?
Befitting its working class roots, Dogpatch remains a place where artists and cops, UPS drivers and MUNI drivers, chocolate makers and winemakers, young singles and families all congregate.
